Times of India Launches Android Application

Many media houses Like IBN Live and NDTV have already created Android applications for their users. The latest media house to join the band wagon is the Times of India group.

According to Androidos, it has been reported that the Times of India group has announced its own application ‘TOIDroid’ that will provide its users news updates and information on their android. TOIDroid is a e-paper application for Android. The application will support important Times of India group’s major editions like Times of India and Economic Times along with the Mumbai Mirror and the Bangalore Mirror.

When NDTV and IBNLive was first introduced as an Android application, it created a storm within India for its focus on India-centric news option that it provided. Using the two free apps, users can read latest news, watch live TV, get live scores and updates, and a whole range of other things. TOIDroid, like the other two media houses apps, will provide similar features to get latest updates on your Android to stay in touch with the latest news and information that is affecting India. Also, TOIDroid too, like NDTV and IBNLive applications will be available for free.
