2. Turn of the internet connection: More often than not, especially when we have WiFi connections at home, we tend to shut down the computer, however, might forget to turn the internet connection. So, it might be important to remember that even if in small quantities even the internet connection consumes electricity. Leaving the internet connection also amounts to wastage.
3. Use web and online banking: Web banking is an option that most banks today offer. So, whenever possible, try and do all your bill payments and other banking transfers and investments. Additionally, if it’s convenient, request for online statements for your credit card bills.  
   
4. Don’t print it all out: Well, when you need to print, print two pages on each page. If you need only one page on each page, make them back-to-back printouts, meaning print on both sides of the paper. Long story short, we must have a really good reason to cut the only trees left out there guys!
5. Do not trash the streets, carry a trash bag: It’s important to remember that we live in the same junk that we create. So, do not throw stuff on the road, instead carry a trash bag. That can easily be kept in your pocket or in your carryon bag. Use the trash bag through the entire journey and dunk it in the trashcan when you are done.
6. Treat the street like you would your house: Would you throw trash around the house, or spit anywhere, or urinate anywhere? I guess not. In the same spirit, treat the streets like you would your house. Ensure that you contribute by keeping the same level of resistance when it comes to the street.  Do not add to the woes of others; help keep your city and your surroundings clean.
7. Carpool, bike pool, or use public transport: Know a friend in the neighborhood that goes to the same area as you? The neighborhood shop is at walk able distance? Reduce your carbon footprint – carpool to work and back, if possible. Walk to the shop that is in your neighborhood – not only does this reduce your carbon footprint, it also makes you fitter!
8. Say no to plastic and paper covers: Surprised? When most people are talking about substituting paper to plastic, why are we telling you to avoid paper covers as well? Simple, cause excess use of paper leads to deforestation. Let us say you go to a medical store and you buy two medicines that can easily slip into your pocket, avoid using the paper that the shop owner will provide to you. It’s as simple as that.
   
9. Each drop contains: Save water, apart from the regular closing the taps and showers after you are done, you could additionally do one more thing – Use a bucket in the place of a shower. You tend to use up a lot more water while you use the shower as opposed to bathing with a bucket. Here’s an idea, indulge in the good old brass bucket. This new feature removes the need of signing out or using a different browser for using various accounts at once.

Steps to unable multiple account access in one browser:

• Go to google.com/accounts
• Locate multiple sign-in option in personal setting, click on edit

• Turn on multiple Google account in the same browser (select each checkboxes)
• Save the settings and your done!

Note – If you use multiple sign-in, the first account you sign in to will be your default account. If you visit other Google products that don’t support multiple accounts after you’ve signed in, you will automatically sign in to your default account for that product. If you sign out of any Google product while signed in to any account, you will be signed out of all your Google Accounts at once. This feature can also be disabled by going through the same process.

You must also know this multiple account sign-in feature is not supportable for few Google service like Blogger and Picasa web albums etc. As of now it supports App Engine, Code, Calendar, Gmail, Reader, Sites and Voice. Further it is restricted to desktop browser and not enabled for mobile phones!
