The LG G2 was unveiled recently and boy its a biggie. LG has bet high with the LG G2 (No more Optimus) and its playing high bets on features that differentiate it from the rest of the herd of smartphones out there. The main features of the phone are:
- 5.2” Full HD IPS display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor with 2.26GHZ Quad Core CPUs
- 2 GB LPDDR3 800 MHZ RAM
- 13 MP OIS Camera (back), 2.1MP Camera (front)
- 16 GB / 32 GB Storage
- Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS
- Size – 138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9mm
- Dual recording / dual camera
- Long lasting battery – 3000mAH
- 24 bit /192 kHZ audio playback
Sounds like any other flagship device, right? Apart from the fact that that monumental 2.26GHz Quad Core processor, LG has included many software as well as hardware features. On the hardware front, the first thing that captures attention is that button on the backside of the device. It makes sense, given that the display is mammoth and reaching out to the sides is not so easy as it used to be. Then there is a knock on feature which turns on the display by simply knocking on it. Audio Zoom is another feature that amplifies the audio coming from a source f your choice.
The best feature though that takes functionality into account is the new QuickWindow case that comes with the G2. To perform basic tasks like checking the time, changing the song, etc can easily be done without flipping open the cover. To know what QuickWindows case is about, check out the video here.
