Skype 5.1 for Windows Available with Group Video Calling
Of late we have seen Skype to concentrate more on enterprise business and as a result it added enterprise products to its suite. Back in November Group Video Calling was introduced to Skype 5.0 for Mac followed by functionality offering for windows pc as well. Now, the new version of Skype (5.1) for enterprise let businesses to have group video calls with up to 10 simultaneous participants, adding to the client’s existing chat, screen sharing and conference call features. Group Video Calling for businesses is available from Skype for $8.99 per user per month.

Skype has also seen to be focusing on emerging mobile video market, as a result iPhone Skype client got video chat support recently and the company has just acquired the mobile video startup Qik. This Group Video Calling for businesses is priced at $8.99 / €5.99 / £4.99 per month per users. Regular users could access it bundled with the Premium package, for the same rate, including live chat support. Regular users could also get a day pass for $4.99 / €3.49 / £2.99. One-on-one video calls would however continue to be free as always.
