Perfect gift for fitness enthusiasts – Lenovo HW02 Plus Fitness Band and Lenovo HS10 Smart Scale
New year resolutions – don’t we all fall into this trap of being fit year after year? Yes, the New year resolution thingy stays ubiquitous towards the ending of the year and the starting of the year. However, as life moves on, things fall back into shape, or rather out of shape! Sounds familiar, isn’t it? Now that became a thing of the past ever since fitness bands came out with proper ecosystems.
Yes, the otherwise useless bands became quite useful as the OEMs developed an ecosystem that brought forth a conducive fitness system for consumers. Such ecosystems have also been around for a couple of years. However, not many users get used to it primarily for a couple of reasons – faulty tracking capabilities, not enough features and ergonomic issues!
Knowing these notions and precedents, I reviewed two Lenovo products: a fitness band (HW02) and a weighing machine (HS10). And, what really got me to review these products is the PAI – or Personalised Activity Intelligence ecosystem. However, I’d like to highlight the key features and details of the products through the following:
Lenovo HW02 Plus Heart Rate Fitness Band: The product is unlike the regular fitness bands that are available in the market. Lenovo has done some serious work and created PAI (Personalised Activity Intelligence). PAI is deeply integrated within the device and was designed to minimise the rate of risk of dying prematurely from all causes and cardiovascular disease by carefully monitoring the weekly heart rate pattern during physical activities. Quite impressive, isn’t it?
With one of the most accurate sensors that gives regular insightful data and syncs with the phone effortlessly, this band is one of the best amongst the ones I have used. The band monitors the activity and gives PAI points on the basis of the number of steps taken and the time of the activity. The more the number of PAI points, the better your health is. According to the research conducted by Lenovo, keeping PAI score above 100 can increase your lifespan by ten years and reduce the chances of having any chronic disease by 38%.
When it comes to design, the band is quite stylish and looks good on the wrist. Sensors and the display are in a plastic frame hedged by rubber coating which makes the band look aesthetically pleasing. The wrist strap is comfortable on hands, and the smartly designed hook-lock is what makes it a must buy for those who live their life high on adrenaline.
Lenovo HS10 Smart Scale: A weighing scale is no new thing to introduce you to. But, the functionalities that Lenovo has added to their smart scale is fascinating and seems as if the mighty Tony Stark has himself designed the product (Nerds will know, what I am talking about). Why I am saying so is because the scale gets connected to the mobile application and gives data about:
- Weight (Obviously)
- Body Mass Index
- Body Fat
- Muscle Rate
- Wait, there’s more…
- Body Types
- Water percentage of the body weight
- Bone Weight
- Visceral Fat
- BMR (Basal Metabolism Rate)
- Subcutis Fat
- Lean weight
The scale has a military grade tempered glass which provides a stable platform for weighing and makes the product crash resilient. The ABS base and the glass ensuring a dirt and moisture resistant scale adds on to the flawless design of the product. The weighing scale gives accurate body data with high quality LED display for clear visibility in any environment.
And, hey did I tell you that the price of the weighing scale is only Rs.4499 which is a good pick in this range. Hang on! That is not the end; there are more reasons to buy it. Currently, it is available at a discounted price of INR 3,799. And, the fitness band that you’re drooling over is available at a discounted price of INR 2,999. So, without wasting any time, go and grab your products exclusively from Amazon. Just for your information, I was able to hold a plank for 2 minutes and do 50 pushups simultaneously. So yeah, I am going to brag about it for a while – thanks to the PAI of my life!
