Nova 2 H.D from Gameloft

When it comes to mobile gaming, the FPS genre has very few titles to choose from and one of the best is N.O.V.A 2 HD. The game is the sequel to the original Nova and comes under the Sci-Fi Shooter category.

The game has a story line focused around Kal Wardin who lives on the desert planet Scorpius and is dragged into a war between two agencies, the government of the Terran Orbitals an organization known as the Human Alien Alliance. The story is kind of weak and uninteresting but that’s not a bad thing since the main point of the game is shooting things (obviously) and when it comes to that Nova 2 does brilliantly well. The game supports multi-touch, the controls are easy enough to understand, but do take some time getting used to. Once you get the hang of it though, Nova 2 will keep you hooked on through all 12 chapters of the game with various environments to play through. There is a lot of choice in weapons too, from handguns to assault and sniper rifles and much more.

The AI is intelligent aswell and the game can be very challenging if you bump up the difficultly level and the AI can pose a real threat since they do move about a lot, take cover, cause distractions to let their comrades flank you and in general be a nuisance.

The visuals are great aswell, the game looks stunning on a smartphone, though the level of detail differs based  on how good your smartphone is but if you have something with beefy graphics and a good 4” display, Nova 2 is a delight to look at.

In the end, all I’ll say is, smartphone gaming may not be that interesting, but developers are definitely pushing the bar with games like Nova 2 that are so well rounded off. Granted it costs quite a lot, 6.77 dollars infact, but you get what you pay for, amazing visuals and an amazing gameplay experience with lots of variety. And once you get bored with the single player campaign you can go online and have 10 player multiplayer matches! Definitely a game every mobile gaming addict should try out.  As usual, you can search for it on the App market or download it directly.

  4. I’d personally favor Google. Both FB and Google would benefit from it, but we would most likely benefit more from Google taking it over. In the case of Google+ it is just a matter of time. Facebook was lucky it didn’t seriously must compete with something as “good” as facebook, the competition was just lacking a lot of features plus a global approach.Google+ is excellent to Facebook, but it really has a bigger challenge to get popular.Just evaluate VHS and Betamax. Betamax was better but lost due to bad marketing/licensing.Danny recently posted..Black & Decker NPP2018 18-Volt Cordless Electric Pole Chain Saw
