According to a report in the Times of India, Consumer Electronics Show (CES) hosted in Las Vegas saw the Notion Ink’s tablet identified as one of the most impressive tablets.

Engadget, the Technology weblog, was one of the first to gain access to the tablet and is said to have quoted that

We have to say despite the doubts we’ve had, we’re incredibly impressed with what this India-based start-up has achieved.

It felt lighter in hand than the iPad. Actually, of all the 10-inch tablets we’ve seen, this one seems to be the easiest to hold up and read on. it added

These opinions were reflected by many other reviewers including SlashGear, another technology weblog. SlashGear said that

Despite scepticism at what the start-up could achieve, the end result is a mightily impressive interpretation of an Android slate.

Notion Ink released a prototype of the tablet in last year’s at CES. It had created a lot of hype just with the prototype, therefore ensuring that there was a lot of buzz around the final product. Needless to say, Notion Ink seems to have lived up to the hype and has delivered.
