My Music, My Life
Music, the art of listening, letting your thought outs and loads of other stuff one could think of. India is a land of many cultures and religions and each one as its own kin of music. Diverse, yet engaging in every aspect. Moving a little away from our geographical location, the type of music changes after every 100 kms. Nevertheless each and every human being can somehow connect through the beats of sound.
The party craving folks are endless and love to tap their feet at some awesome music. The fastest growing genre in India in today s’ time, I believe, is house and electronic dance music. Its all about the rhythm, the connect and the adrenaline. If you head to night clubs, bars and even restaurants, the music being played is quite nice.A very cool concept of ‘Headphone parties’ was introduced by a select group of party freaks where two DJ s would play simultaneously. Each person at the party would be given a pair of headphones and can select what he/she wants to listen to out of the 2 DJ s playing. How brilliant is that!
Without our realizing it, music helps us to unwind in a lot of ways. Say your really tied up at work, your projects are being delayed. You put on your headphones, connect it to your music player or your cell phone, switch on some good music and do nothing at all but relax. The music of your choice takes your mind away from the hangups in life. You could probably sip on a hot cup ‘o’ coffee and munch on a chocolate muffin too! Ah! That time is bliss! OR stuck in traffic with still a long way to go. You’ve been waiting for some alone time to switch on the amazing stereo system you got installed in your ride. Switch on the music, relax your mind. Time flies and your out of traffic in no time.
” Without music, life would be a mistake” said Freidrich Nietzsche, a German philosopher, poet and composer and he was so bang on target.
