According to Android central the expected launch of the Motorola Xoom could be as early as February 17, 2011. This is the possible date of the phone being launched at Best Buy. This date was arrived based on a screen shot. There is however no confirmation yet if the Motorola Xoom’s release will match Verizon’s Android 3.0 tablet into the market.

A few days ago, Android Central also broke the news that the minimum advertised price of the Motorola Xoom was set at $799. As the broke this news they also looked at other possible releases that could happen around the same time and their minimum advertised prices. HTC Thunderbolt made the list and was said to have a minimum advertised price of $249.
Though the minimum advertised price of the Motorola Xoom was set at $799, the actual market price of the phone will most certainly be more than $799.
According to the review in the Motorola website it
is first tablet with a dual-core processor and Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) – powerful Google software developed specifically for tablets. It features front and rear-facing cameras, a camcorder and Adobe® Flash® Player, all on a 10.1-inch widescreen HD display
Motorola Xoom has been one of the most anticipated tablet in 2011, for the features it provides and its uniqueness of being the first tablet with a dual processor.
