The most awaited feature of Google Voice is finally here. Google this morning confirmed that you can now port your mobile number to Google Voice. By mobile porting you can turn your existing mobile phone number into your Google Voice number – the number you can use to ring all your phones, from your cell to your office phone to your home phone to, even to your PC, says Google
Google will charge $20 to port your present number to Google voice. To port the number you can follow “Change/Port” option on the Setting page after logging and it will be activated within 24 hours, according to Google.

The service is available in US and number porting is available now for all existing Google Voice users and will be opened to new users “within the next few weeks.”
