When you purchase a new android smartphone, Google does a great job by migrating your email and other application data. Moving your contacts, Gmail and other emails and applications is a piece of cake with playstore but backing up SMS’s, MMS’s and phone logs is not so easy. Configuring Your Gmail Account
- Backup message & call to Email requires IMAP access to your gail account to work. You can accomplish this by following the steps below.
- Login to your Gmail account
- Navigate to Settings
- Scroll down to Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
- Check Enable IMAP.
- Scroll down and click Save Changes.
