With hundreds of new devices launching every month, very few smartphones leave a mark and are able to create a hype. The LG G2 is one such smartphone featuring top of the line features like Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM, an awesome 13MP rear shooter and some neat tricks along its sleeve including the power key and volume key at the back as well as a few features on the software front.
When you have so much power under the hood and with a 13MP shooter, you are bound to leave the point and shoot at home and your device then becomes the home to hundreds of selfies as well as pictures of your loved ones. Moreover, with all your accounts and everything synced and online, its a bad bet to simply hand over your dearer than life smartphhone to any one, even if they are an acquaintance and when you have the latest smartphone like the LG G2, people are bound to notice and ask for a hands on of the device. LG might have had this at the back of their minds when they decided to have a guest mode feature in the LG G2!
The guest mode lets you decide what files, pictures and apps can a guest have access to. You can set up a different passcode or pattern for the lock to lead you into the guest mode. Now with the guest mode, I’am no longer worried about my friends tampering with my pictures and uploading them on facebook nor about them check in me into red light areas!
A welcome feature, the Guest mode on the G2 keeps my personal life private and adds new meaning to the term privacy in the age of NSA. Mind you, you are still not fooling NSA here!
