How can you withdraw a facebook friend request?

Do you accidentally added someone from your facebook account? Have you send a facebook friend request to person and then realise that you are login from another account? The common solution to this query is “How to withdraw the facebook friend request?”

Update

Now facebook changed the way to unfriend and cancel a friends request. You can simply open the profile of person and cancel the friend request. See below screenshots for details:

Below method is Out Dated…

In order to withdraw facebook friend request you need to follow follow simple steps:

1.Go to the desired person profile and simply block the him/her.

Note:  By bocking a person on Facebook will delete all the connections of your with him/her.

2. Now Go to your  Settings>Privacy Settings>Block List on the top right navigation menu.

3. Simply type the name of the person with whom you want to withdraw the friend request

4.Finally after blocking the person, refresh the page (Settings>Privacy Settings>Block List) and unblock them. This will withdraw facebook friends request.

This is NOT true. All you do is cancel friend request at their info on the left side.

No all you have to do is cancel friend request beneath that persons pictures of friends on the left side. This is ridiculously complicated and unnecessary.
