Google’s rapid entry into mobile advertising
The world’s search engine giant Google has pushed its entry into the mobile advertising in the famous Great Wall country China. China is expected to supersede America to become the world’s largest Smartphone market this year.
“We have planned to jump into the booming bandwagon of mobile advertising in China’ says John Liu, Google’s Corporate Vice President. Being the developer of the famous Android operating system, the Google says that the demands of mobile advertising in China are ever increasing in the recent times.
Advertisement requests in the area of mobile for the Google products have increased over 120% in July 2012 compared to the previous year. According to Google, this great jump has pushed Google in the berth of top five countries for the demand of advertising. John Liu of Google asserts that Google has made a tremendous progress in China in the fastest growing mobile advertisement in China.
Top analysts predict Google may find it difficult in bridging the gap with its neatest competitor Baidu Inc who still dominates the market. However the founder of Beijing based IT5G Company’s Hong Bo predicts Google is poised to improve its business in China as in the expected lines.
An increasing number of mobile users who use mobile for browsing the internet, will surely enable the search engine giant Google to make huge revenues by marketing its web application products.
Baidu’s Chief Executive and Chairman Robin Li worry about the challenges faced by the successful business model on personal computers like e-commerce, games, advertising etc. with the entry of mobile advertising.
