Google Wallet on Sprint’s Nexus 4G
Reports indicate that Google’s mobile payment service called Google Wallet will be launched this summer at different retailers in New York and San Francisco. It is believed that the first phone that will use the Goggle Wallet will be Sprint’s Nexus 4G. As a NFC-equipped device, Nexus 4G will be able to take advantage of the Google Wallet.
The Google Wallet will partner with MasterCard’s PayPass System. This partnership will help with the payment process. Additionally, Citigroup will provide the banking services. Many of the leading stores including Macy’s, Subway, American Eagles and so on will Google Wallet.
Google Wallet will help you use your phone like a wallet and therefore provide you with a simple and faster way to pay your bills at places where credit cards are accepted. It provides the security you need to ensure that your phone or your cards are not misused, by ensuring that you can easily activate or deactivate the feature. It also provides password protections for security.
The only charges that will be that of the MasterCard merchant fees, this is charged when you use a credit or debit card. Google, however, will not charge anything extra for the convenience offered. It will offer users coupons and loyalty program.
