Flickr Mobile App Review with Hands on PICS
Most of us know about the popular image sharing website Flickr, which has owned by Yahoo since 2005. Two weeks ago they released V1.0 of the official Flickr app and we have to say it works flawlessly.
Upon launching the app, you can sign in with your Yahoo ID or create one, once you’re done with that, you’ll get to the main Flickr screen. Here you have 4 tabs. The right most tab sends you to the built-in camera app that you can use to take pictures, add a filter if you wish and then upload it to Flickr. You can tag the images and add descriptions just like on the desktop site and even enable geo tagging aswell. The other three tabs list your activity, your Flickr profile and your contacts list.
Apart from uploading your photos to Flickr, you can also link your Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, WordPress account and upload a photo to all of those networks simultaneously which makes it a snap to share your pictures with all your social networks.
There isn’t much to say about the app other than that, it works like it should and offers some great features you wouldn’t find in 3rd party Flickr apps so do you check it out if you haven’t already at the App Store.
