Facebook Gives Sneak Peek of Unfinished Features
Facebook has been working on a few features that were not ready. However, some of the unfinished features were exposed to some of its users even before they were ready, that too when it was evidently seen and accessed by a number of users. As damage control, Facebook was forced to shut down the systems to roll back to Facebook without displaying these new features.
Facebook tweeted about the same –
Facebook is available again after being down for a brief period. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The tweet also added
Also, some internal prototypes were exposed to people and resulted in us disabling the site briefly. It’s now back to normal
Though this information was revealed in the tweet, the nature of the features that were available were not talked about. Hoping that the new version and updates made to the sites are not discussed to users that did not access Facebook during the time of its shut down.
However, with the speed at which information gets transported in today’s internet world some sites have already started revealing the changes that could be made to the site in the future. Though the features could end up very different from the sneak peak that users got, some of the changes were recorded to have been made to pages like friendship page, and the navigational tabs.
