With a variety of advantages that exist in this application is one of the most dominant factors, so many vendors that complement their products with Android. In addition, the various versions that exist on this application certainly gives plenty of options for users of smartphone and tablet PCs, where each version is released by Android is intended to be used in a variety of features and facilities are also available on these devices. But with so many versions available on Android applications, we often find it difficult to determine the best applications we should use. If you want to buy a mobile device with Android applications, here are some guidelines that can be used as a reference for your use, including:

Android Version
Android is an application development experience, this we can see from some of the version that was launched. There are several versions of Android ever released, including the Android Froyo, Android Gingerbread, Android Honeycomb, and the last version is Android ice cream sandwich. If you want to purchase mobile devices based on Android apps, you must determine what kind Android applications will be used, it is to better help us in installing some Android applications. As we know that some applications require mobile devices using the Android mobile specific version, so you need to be careful in choosing an Android application that will be used.

Must compatible with various Applications
Of the several versions that are used, almost exclusively used the Android application for mobile devices with certain specifications. You can choose frequently used applications and also has a high level of compatibility when used for several other mobile applications. The presence of each feature on the Android application can indeed be upgraded, so that we no longer need to buy other mobile devices. However you should check the type of mobile application is installed on a mobile device prior to use. Hopefully with some guidance in choosing Android applications will be easier for you if you want to buy a mobile device-based Android operating system.

Personally, I like to travel a lot. And when you’re travelling there are two things you can’t forget, a map so you don’t get lost and proper planning as to where you’ll stay, how expensive the food and car rental is etc. Trips can be a disaster if you don’t plan ahead of time. This is where Kayak comes in. With your handy android smartphone or iPhone you can have access to everything you might need on the go.
Previously we had reviewed a similar app, Trip Advisor for android, Kayak has improved on that by a huge margin so let’s get straight down to the review.

Considering how large the application is, we’ll take it in sections from here, first off Flights!

Booking your flight:

The first part of any trip is of course, booking the most suitable flight, normally you’d have to go to your PC and search the respective airline’s website or worse yet travel to an office yourself. With Kayak, you can easily view available tickets with prices and even book them if you have a credit card (who doesn’t nowadays?). You have options to book a single flight for a one-way trip, a return flight and a third rather unusual “multi-city” option. So if you’re off on a short flight or a huge multi-flight trip, Kayak has you covered. Once you get the search results, you can filter them by price, choose from Economy, Business and First class and book your tickets.

If you’re looking to save some additional cash, tap the price alerts menu, choose a flight in similar fashion and Kayak will notify you regarding price changes automatically! Booking flights is common to every other travel related app, but this feature really adds value to Kayak, shows the developers have put thought into it to make something unique and useful.

You also have two additional menus for tracking your flight by flight number or airport and a My Trips menu that keeps track of all of your bookings whether its a flight ticket or a hotel room booking.

Accuracy is of course important for flight trackers, and as far as I’ve used the flight tracker it works just as it should and doesn’t miss any flights like Trip Advisor did.

Car rental and hotel booking:

Once you get to your destination, tap the car rental menu and you can search for rental cars by location. You can use the GPS to track your location or manually enter your location instead. Kayak will give you quick and detailed results. You can filter the choices by location, price or car class which is a great feature to have.

Booking a hotel is just as easy. Enter your location or automatically determine it and Kayak will give you results. But this app is by far the best in this category. I have used several other apps for this but the problem is most applications do not list the cheaper hotels you can get, not everyone would be ready to pay 500+ dollars for a one night stay. Kayak gave back results in every price range ranging from a lowly $73 hotel to more expensive ones.

Airport information, currency converter and more:

With the basics covered, Kayak still has a lot more to offer. You have a built in currency converter, an essential tool for when travelling abroad. You have more information related to flights. You can for example use the application to find how much cash an extra KG of luggage will cost you with a specific airline. The feature is excellent but not as useful as it could be since you can only search a handful of airlines, not the full list. Hopefully they’ll expand their database in the future.

Similarly the Airport Information menu will give you details regarding everything you can do on a airport, where a certain shop is located, how far are the washrooms or terminals etc. But again, the information is limited to a select few airports which is disappointing.

You can also browse air fare trends in a similar fashion to the Price Alerts option, share your location with a friend through the Beacon menu incase you need directions and Kayak even includes a packing list!

You have default lists in the menu such as “General” which lists stuff like your cell phone charger, medicine and cash, stuff that you’ll need on any trip. You can edit the lists and add and subtract items ofcourse.

Lastly we have a preferences menu, where you can log-in to Kayak or use the Facebook log in option, change the currency, and select how many results to give when searching in the app. You can also provide feedback through another menu and you even have a handy 4×4 widget to keep track of flights, price alerts and your trips.

I’d say Kayak is by far my favorite app for when I’m on the go. I was very impressed by Trip Advisor which I reviewed sometime ago, it is an excellent app in its own regard, but Kayak is even better. The interface takes very little time to get used to and the best bit is the level of detail in the app. The developer has gone beyond the basic options such as flight and hotel booking and included some new stuff such as the packing lists menu. You have many other small touches here and there that shows how thoughtful the developer has been and it is these things that really make an app great, and in the case of Kayak, it’s a truly marvelous app. After all it has the Editor’s Choice award on the app market for a reason. The ONLY problem I’ve had with it is that its not that fast, I have been using it on Wifi over a 20Mbit connection and while its slightly slow here, I suspect using it over Edge or 3G will show signs of slowing down occasionally.

The internet is full of amazing and some bizarre things waiting to be dug out, and ofcourse most of us don’t have the time to see everything out there. Stumble Upon is a one of a kind application that does just what it says. You can use it to Stumble upon interesting facts and stories around the web based on your interests! Its as simple as that.

The idea is that all of the application’s users or Stumblers, see stuff across the web, +1 the ones they like and -1 the ones they don’t. You can use the app then to find the most read stories relating to a certain topic, be it technology, cars, fashion or even Android applications!

The app is free on the Android market, all you need to do is download, install and use the convenient Facebook log in option. You’ll have to choose a few interests to start with as the results are specific to what you like. Once that’s done, start stumbling!

The app has an exceedingly simple interface, you have two buttons to like or dislike a post, the Stumble button to find something interesting across the web and a share button to share the story via an assortment of social tools such as Facebook or Twitter.

The interface is excellent no doubt, but the best bit is the quality of the posts you come across on Stumble Upon. I’ve used the application quite a bit uptil now and its awesome. You can come across stuff like 25 of the best HDR wallpapers, 10 of the most weird things you’ll ever see, pictures of notable cars (since I chose cars as an interest and much more.

It’s a great time killer for when you are waiting for something or someone and pass the time with stumbling across the web, at home or on the move, if you’re a curious type, this app will wow you. There are some lame results of course, I came across a ridiculous post regarding charging your laptop with its own USB port! But mostly the app works as it should. The interface is clean and you have plenty of sharing options, developers realize how everyone has an urge to use to share even the smallest of things, nonetheless it’s a useful feature to have.

Overall I’d say it’s a great app, its useful and interesting, its free, and its definitely unique, you’ll be hard pressed to find something like this in another application. Recommended for everyone out there with a bit of free time on their hands. And do let us know what you think of it as always.

You can also open up the Events and Location menus to view concerts by date or by location which shows all the concerts near you, if any. The last menu “My Gigs” lists all the concerts you are planning on attending.
GigBeat will also notify you automatically about new tour dates or upcoming events if you choose to from the settings menu.

This app isn’t for everyone ofcourse, not everyone of you will want to attend live concerts every now and then, so its obvious why it isn’t so popular yet. For those of you who are the partying type, this app is a life saver. You can easily see all of the major concerts by your favorite artists near you, book tickets, create reminders or view specific locations. It’s a great app and something everyone (who needs it) should have.

Download it over at the Android market and share your opinions aswell. There have been reports of the app not listing/missing some gigs, so if you have had some experiences, we’d love to hear.

Aldiko Book reader has been one of the best selling apps on the Android market for quite sometime. E-book readers are a blessing in my opinion for those that read a lot, you can instantly access any book you want (possibly for free) and avoid time consuming trips to the book store, plus you can carry all of your books right in your pocket and read them as you please.

Amazon’s Kindle has been a great example of the popularity of E-book readers across the world, and Aldiko is a app that does much of the same for Android users.

To start off, the app is presented in a white and orange look. It’s a slick looking application that’s pleasing to the eyes and easy to use. I will say it is a bit slow but responsiveness might vary from device to device.

The main screen shows your purchased books, by default Jack London’s White Fang was already on in the app when I downloaded it. The main screen is very similar to iOS’s iBooks in the sense that all of your books are represented on a virtual shelf which makes for a nice display if you gather a large collection of books.

In order to get more books, you can hit the shopping cart in the top right of the app. This brings you to Aldiko’s large collection of catalogs. There are several catalogs already added to the app which provide free and paid books. You can also view the best selling books, browse by category and author , view books that were adapted into films etc. The amount of books available in the application is very diverse and you’ll most probably find 70-80% of the books you are looking for. Newer books tend to be paid for, whereas other novels can be free. So if you are looking a book that just launched, chances are you’ll still have to pay for it on Aldiko or in a traditional book store.

Other than browsing Aldiko’s catalog you can also import books from your SD card which is an excellent feature to have since I tend to have a few books in PDF form on my smartphone. Reading them on Aldiko, a proper E-book reader is much nicer than on something like Adobe Reader.

The actual reading pane is laid out excellently, and by excellently I mean, there is no obstruction on the page whatsoever. 100% of the space is devoted to the book itself, you can ofcourse hit the menu key to do several things.

Once you open a book, you can adjust brightness level s, go directly to the Table of contents or a bookmark, bookmark the current page, open the settings panel or share the book via your installed applications such as Facebook, Twitter, default messaging application etc. You can even use the handy search tool to search for any specific text in the whole book and the previously mentioned bookmarks can be used more than once in each book.

Overall, it’s a well thought out and quality application. Aldiko is easy to use with a nice and clean interface, a very good collection of books (though not as vast as Amazon’s Kindle) and other options here and there that make your life easier (such as a night mode for reading books in bed). A recommended application for every bookworm out there. You can get the app on the Android market for free or if you are feeling charitable, get the paid version instead to reward the developers for their effort.

Whenever a new 3D game comes along for Android, I’m always excited, yes 2D games are fun but its hard to separate the bad ones from the good ones, with 3D games, nearly all of them are good quality and they give you a far more immersing experience than traditional 2D games do, atleast in my opinion.

Wind-up knight has a similar story to Mario. Both characters roll across a 2D world to save the princess from the evil baddy. In this case the evil baddy is the “Black Knight” and you are tasked by the King to rescue her in a letter, as the King mentions that “I know she means a lot to you” (wonder what that means? ).

Once you’re done reading the letter, followed by a quite funny letter from the Black Knight to the King telling him he has kidnapped his daughter, you’ll begin with the actual gameplay. Black Knight is set across 50+ levels in 4 different worlds so there is no shortage of content.

The first things you notice when you start a level are the graphics. Black Knight has one of the best graphics in a mobile 3D game to date and its up with other greats such as Shadow Gun in that department. The visuals are simply amazing, the background of each level has been given a lot of detail too so the actual stage feels connected to the background. If you are passing a dock for example, you’ll see ships moving here and there in the backgrounds, or a castle across a lake/sea etc. I found it hard looking away from the all the background details and focus on the actual gameplay.

Speaking of the gameplay, Wind-up knight is very challenging. As the name suggests you are a Knight that needs to be winded up, like a toy, to function. This means if you waste time you’ll run out of juice and fail the level. To avoid this you need to kill enemies and pick up those little keys that are used to wind up toys to keep on the move. You have 4 basic buttons which are introduced as the game goes on.

Wind-up Knight can run (by default), jump with a button press, hit an enemy with his sword, roll and use his shield. You’ll get comfortable with the controls as the level goes on and each new element is introduced. It’s a nice approach in my opinion as you won’t give up on the game, if you pack a lot of features right into the start it might get a bit overwhelming for some people specially considering how difficult Wind-up Knight is.

Once you’re used to the controls, which takes a lot of time, the game starts getting fun. The good thing is “fun” here does not mean playing ridiculously easy levels and passing them with ease. Wind-up Knight never ceases to be challenging and you’ll almost always die here and there in each level as you get hit by a spike or killed by an enemy en route such as a bird or a dog. You can also double jump over objects later on in the game.

While the game itself is free, you can use money in-app for purchases. Purchases include unlocking some levels, buying new swords, shields, armor pieces and helmets. If you don’t feel like spending real money on these accessories you can choose to use the money gained from the levels instead to make purchases. You’ll start off with basic equipment such as a wooden sword, and as the game gets more challenging you can upgrade your weapons and armors to keep pushing through to the princess.

Each level is considerably hard with many obstacles to over come such as spikes, animals, fire, gaps to jump over and other obstacles combined in a variety of ways to make sure you die. You won’t ofcourse if you’re smart enough and get the controls memorized quickly.

If you do, Wind Up Knight is going to entertain you like no other and keep you busy for hours of quality gaming experience. Its one of the best 3D games on Android, and possibly one of THE best games on a mobile OS and its free with fantastic visuals and gameplay. The only problem I had with the game was that the controls were a bit inaccurate, you need to be very precise to tap on the right button as if you tap a bit away from it, it won’t register a key press which can be very frustrating. That aside, it s a great game , definitely try it out on the Android market and share your experience and any problems you might be facing. Samsung Galaxy S2 users for example are facing slow downs after a few levels. If you have any problem, report it to the developer so they can fix it as soon as possible.

Cordy is an interesting 3D game for Android. Its an Editor’s Choice app which says a lot about the game itself and described by many as the best Android game on the market.

Developed by Silver Tree Media, Cordy is a little robot tasked with powering up his world. He does this by collecting power in the form of small gears spread across a level. Once those gears are collected you can tap the main computer terminal which sends power to the next door and makes the next level accessible.

The graphics for Cordy are simply excellent, the game is meant for high end devices but even then on my HTC Desire the game looks amazing with graphics quality set to Basic. It is slightly slow and sometimes does not respond to multi-touch gestures but that’s a limitation due to the older smartphone, it should run fine on newer models.

The gameplay is fun, the starting levels are quite easy but as the game progresses it gets quite challenging. At the start you can jump to higher platforms, push and pull objects and as you progress you’ll get to swing, hover aswell as pick and up through objects. This little robot can do a lot! And with all those abilities, getting through levels isn’t all that difficult.

Its not a particularly challenging game, and keeping in mind the controls aren’t that precise that’s a good thing. Levels will be easy quite easy to complete and Cordy has a Sonic The Hedgehog feel to the gameplay. Its fun but nothing too hardcore that will frustrate you or take multiple tries to complete.
So basically you’ll be playing a mildly challenging game, with some puzzle solving, very few enemies and excellent visuals. Its an interesting combination since the games with the best visuals are often those that have fantastic gameplay. So for those who are interested in casual gameplay but do not want games that are an eyesore, Cordy is for you.

That being said, there are a few problems with the game that could be corrected. First off, the controls as I mentioned earlier, aren’t that precise. Improving them in an update would really help make the game easier to play.

Secondly, the developers should really up the ante a bit. Casual gamers will love Cordy, but for the more hardcore minded gamers that want a challenge, Cordy can be a bit bland and boring. So for someone like me, Cordy’s appeal is limited to the graphics alone. I’ll play it for a while, admire the wonderful graphics and animations and watch as the world flips around and rotates in 3D, but eventually I’ll get bored and move on to something better. That’s just me though. We all know, there are a lot of casual gamers on Android and they are easily in the majority.

Considering that and the fact that Cordy is free its easy to see why this game, despite not being a bit weak in the gameplay department is an Editor’s Choice and as popular as it is. If you’re an android user that just wants to have some fun once in a while get Cordy from the Android market for free.

Greedy Spiders is possibly the most fun puzzle game on Android. The game revolves around some bugs that go to a bug concert, which turns out to be a trap set up by the Greedy Spiders disguised as bugs. Now its up to you to help these entertainment derived bugs escape the spider infested hall.

After the intro video is over, start the game and you’ll begin on a grid shaped like a spider’s net. The bug has been trapped in this net and you must help it get out. You can do this by using the scissor tool on the right and tapping onto the cobwebs to cut them. You get one turn, then the spider gets a turn to move and so on.

The gameplay is very simple at the start. You only have one attacking greedy (or hungry?) spider and only one bug to save. As you advance along the levels, the number of bugs will increase, you’ll need to plan ahead and strategize to get out of sticky situations. You need to keep in mind potential forks and avoid them, chess places will know what I am talking about. Later on the levels you’ll start dealing with multiple spiders aswell, this is when the game gets really tricky and challenging. Thankfully as the levels progress, you’ll get some new powers aswell to stop those greedy spiders!

These powers are represented by the grayed out buttons on the panel to your right and can be quite the game changers. You can use the flames icon for example to burn down a whole set of strings in the web or deceive a spider and use other godly powers.
The game is A LOT of fun, its very challenging but BLYTES, the developer has managed to make it fun at the same time. Its hard enough to challenge you at every point and easy enough that you don’t get bored of trying, throw it away and try something easier, Angry Birds for example?

Speaking of Angry Birds and other widely popular games on the market such as Cute The Rope or Fruit Ninja, this is easily better than all of them. Angry Birds is awesome, I love the angry little creatures in all shapes and sizes but its never been as challenging as this game is. Greedy Spiders is simply fantastic. And you can play along all 78 levels of the game AND they’ve even added a 30 level Halloween pack into the mix. The developer also mentions on the site that more scenarios will be coming soon in feature updates, so its one game that you will never get bored off and always have a new level to play. And to top if off its just $0.99 on the market.

In Magic Defenders HD, you’ll be playing in a “Plants vs Zombies” type game. As the name implies you can choose a wizard/hero of your choice and use him and his powers to defend your town from the Orc invasion.

First thing I noticed while starting the game is that the Orcs look pretty similar to some goblins in another game, Battle Heart, not sure wether they copied the character or it was just plain chance. That’s a small detail though and the game itself is nothing like Battle Heart.
Just like any other game of this type, you’ll be defending your town from the Orcs in 3 scenarios, first one is in the forest and is quite easy, the second is on your town wall and the 3rd one is inside the town itself. The start is quite easy with only one route for enemies to pour in through.

At the start of the each level you get a basic power such as arcane magic or electricity, once you kill enough of those orcs with it, you can buy upto 3 new powers and upgrade them. Killing enemies give you XP to buy these powers and killing multiple enemies will generate XP faster. Each character has its own set of skills which is nice to see. The basic character for example can start a blazing fire within a certain radius, “infect” a piece of land to damage multiple enemies or order pointed icicles that drop from the storm ridden sky. The powers and your overall damage can be upgraded as you play along.
The thing that I personally love about the game is firstly the graphics and art style. The graphics aren’t the best we have seen but they have a unique feel to them, the animations and power effects (described above) look cool too though its quite obvious there is room for a lot more improvement. There are games out there with nicer graphics after all.

On the gameplay side, I have mixed feelings. The powers system is well executed, using multiple powers at one time has mixed effects, for example if you use a fire storm and then use the ice storm power, they will reduce their overall damage (common sense really). That’s a clever addition and adds a lot of strategy to the game but on the downside you only have 3 powers to play with. If you had twice that or even more, it would make for some seriously cool gameplay. Then we have the levels. Again, they are well thought out (the last two atleast) but once you’re done, you’ll keep wanting for more. 3 levels as I’m sure everyone will agree, is too less for any game. On the bright side, the last level is endless so you can hone your skills, but I am hoping the developers do something about the amount of (or lack of) content in the game.

Overall, I have mixed feelings about it, its not a game that will impress you like some of the other games, its not as dreary as some other games on the Android market. Its “good” to be very fair. And the price is pretty reasonable at $1.36. Try it out for free here first, and as always feel free to share your opinions about Magic Defenders HD.

The development of mobile devices at this time is quite rapid. This is in line with a growing number of mobile devices with a variety of shapes and designs are offered as well as existing applications on these devices. For some people who have such devices, would choose a mobile device equipped with the features and facilities are complete and adequate. For today’s applications use a lot of service providers, such as Android, Windows Mobile, IOS, and several other mobile applications. Of course some of these applications there are advantages and disadvantages. However, to determine which application is best certainly requires an understanding, as when using the application.

One application that is currently encountered in many mobile devices, it looks like Android is one of the most widely used applications. This is because these applications are always launched several new versions of the features they have. Some versions of Android you probably know them are Android Gingerbread, Android Froyo, Android Honeycomb, and most recently the Android ice cream sandwich. Of the few platforms that exist on the Android application, almost all of them are used for mobile devices with the specifications and features are complete enough, so as to produce optimal performance.

Is Android the best application at this time? We do have to admit that for the moment Android is one of the best mobile applications, it is proved by several prominent vendors of mobile devices that use this application for their products. Regardless of the deficiencies that exist in this application, of course we should be able to choose which applications are most widely used by users of smartphone and other mobile devices. With many Android users, of course increasingly proving that this application is still the best.

What’s the best way to get information online? Google ofcourse. That’s the first word that comes to our mind when we want to look for something and although a lot of companies such as Microsoft through Bing have tried to replace Google as our favorite source of information, Google has always stayed ahead. Wolfram Alpha for android is an application that will give you google like services in one way.
Instead of returning website results when you search for something, Wolfram Alpha will provide you information instead; call it an encyclopedia if you will. Search for Facebook for example and it tells your Facebook Inc. is set up in Palo Alto, California, United States, has daily views of 8.2billion and is the no. 2 site on the net. It even tells you it stared 15years ago in 1997 and shows Facebook’s HTML element hierarchy aswell. What other search engine does that when you search for something?

Similarly you can search for any other topic, searching for a sky chart for your area will show you a 3D view of the globe with constellations mapped onto it. Search for something like “Divide 10 by 2” and it will give you a detailed answer as show below with detailed steps, a pie chart AND a number line!

You can try searching on literally anything you want and get immediate results with every detail you can imagine, the search engine is very clever and the app works great. Its quite simple aswell with only a full size keyboard on screen, which by the way is splendid, it’s a custom keyboard for the app itself not the keyboard you are using on your Android device. Surprisingly the keyboard in the app alone is very accurate and great to type on.
You can use Wolfram Alpha for much more complicated things aswell. Hit the menu key and enter the examples menu and you have a whole list of example search terms in a variety of topics such as Maths, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Computer Sciences, Units and Measures, Dates and Times, weather, health, nutrition, linguistics and much more!
Try searching your surname for example and you’ll get population estimates, where you belong from, the weather and time in your area etc or use it solve maths problems such as plotting a quadratic equation on a graph.
Wolfram Alpha is a life saver, it doesn’t really matter who you are or what you do, Wolfram Alpha will help you out in every way possible and give answers to everything you want. Its for $2 on the Android market but considering the amount of information you get at your finger tips with the app, I’d say its totally worth it. Do try it out and share your opinions about the app with us.

You heard that right, this is the review for “The Impossible Game”. We all know how developers often exaggerate about their games specifics but this developer means it when he says impossible.

The game is very simple. You play on a 2D side scroller. Tapping your finger will make the orange square below jump over obstacles. A triangle has to be avoided at all costs by jumping over it, whereas a square can be jumped onto however smashing into the square or hitting its sides will still kill you.

Playing the game though is extremely difficult. The first level is extremely long, I’ve spent about more than 1hour and 250 tries on it and I got to about 70% to the level end. The game mechanics are very simple and the game is a joy to play. Some people though as one comment on the Android market describes it feel something along these lines: “two lame levels that make you want break your phone when you mess up”

Its a love or hate game to be honest, you are either going to love the gameplay and spend hours and days of your life and grow old as you attempt to achieve the impossible or you’re going to get frustrated, leave the game and move on. One thing is for sure though, stick around to master the game and you’ll gain the best satisfaction at ending a game level in history. Besides the bragging rights count too, you can show it off to your friends as the game only you can beat and smirk as they get frustrated trying to achieve the same.

Get it off the Android market for a bit under a dollar, and try it out yourself, and if you manage to beat the game, do share your comments below, we’d love to know how everyone gets on. And if you’re having problem with the game (you will ofcourse) try out the practice mode instead by hitting the flag icon to learn the level step by step.

From the developers of the popular note taking application Evernote comes a new app titled Skitch. Skitch is a useful program that allows you to annotate and edit images to your liking using a selection of tools.

The app allows you to choose a picture from your SD card, take a picture through your smartphone’s camera on the spot or draw on a plain sheet instead. You can use several tools to edit images for example use the arrow tool to add a arrow (with the color of your choice) to point at something, such as a person in a picture and add a caption to show their name. Other than arrows and inserting text, you can add shapes such as circles and rectangles to images (for example to draw attention to something in a picture) or draw lines with your finger (free-form) or straight lines with a separate tool.

There isn’t much to mention about Skitch, its from Evernote Corp. so you’ll get the same expected quality and ease of use that Evernote has. The app looks very simplistic and is extremely easy to use. You can edit images as you wish and use it for a lot of tasks (annotating group photos to add names, adding notes on a picture, or just practicing on a blank sheet when you’re bored) and once you’re done you can save the picture in Evernote or send it someone in a MMS, Email, via Bluetooth and other services. The only thing lacking is an eraser tool, you can undo the changes you have made to your files but you cannot erase them freely or tap on objects to remove them which is a bit of a let down and something that should be corrected in a new update.

The app is free on the android market.
