asus padfone 2 ASUS Padfone 2 to hit Australian Market in 2013 Following its international launch at Taipei and Milan recently, Asus has confirmed the news that the Padfone2 would not be released in Australia until 2013. However, Asus has confirmed   the Padfone2 launch in Europe and Asia before the year 2012.

The delay of launching in Australia is mainly due to the narrow gap between toe launches in this year 2012. ASUS has already conveyed its advance thanks to the Australian users who have to wait for their second generation product.

While interviewed by PC World Australia, the spokesperson from ASUS has stated clearly that the decision of the delayed launch in Australia has been taken from their head office.

Also the company has not given any firm reply whether the new product will be done through Telco. The new gadget Padfone2 is likely to function on the Australian 4G network which is currently used by Telstra and Optus. This is mainly due to the design of the new model that needs LTE 1800 Mega Hertz network band for its smooth operation.

The second generation model Padfone2 is the amalgamation of the original Padfone with Android’s modular type smart phone, docked inside a single tablet shell. Basically the new model is a two-in-one version designed by the ASUS engineers.

The sequel device will have a larger 4.7 inch screen employed with the latest version of 4.1 Jelly bean Android operating system.
