Apple Decides to Impose Ban on As Many as Eight Samsung Phones
Apple Inc. is contemplating to impose United States sales ban on as many as eight Samsung Electronics’ Smartphone models. Apple Inc. is also pondering as to whether extend the preliminary ban that already exists. Among the phones that Apple is considering imposing ban upon includes devices in the Galaxy lineup as well. The impact on the sales turnover of Samsung will not be much since the ban includes only the older models and certainly not on the latest brand of devices.
Im Jeong Jae, a Seoul-based fund manager, mentions clearly that the penalty will not be more than one time cost since the older models are not witnessing major sales turnover. Im Jeong Jae hopes that the imposition of the ban will certainly not affect the operating profit and the sales in a massive way. Apple is looking forward to impose a permanent ban also looks forward to place an everlasting ban on specific tablets that operate on mobile networks. The devices Apple is interested to impose its ban upon include Galaxy S II Epic 4G, Galaxy S 4G and the Galaxy S II T-Mobile as well.
Samsung has made an appeal to the concerned United States Court of Appeals to overturn the Nexus ban. On the other hand, Apple holds the opinion that Samsung must pay an amount of thirty dollars on each and every handset that the company necessarily sells. Samsung has clearly made up its mind to revert the entire verdict that Apple Inc has brought about. Samsung also placed an application appealing to suspend the verdict.
